-- Root Parasite --

The Root Parasite, or "Root Bug" for short.

Three legs, six eyes; its head and organs are located near a maw lined with sharp teeth.

Its roots coil around its abdomen, piercing into flesh to inject tendrils while its suction draws blood, anchoring it to the surface of its host.

The head is also injected into the host alongside the roots to protect its own brain and enter a symbiotic life-or-death bond with the host, facilitating further exploration and modification of the host.
